1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Kidb at quizzer.in ("the Website"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Website. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Kidb.

2. Description of Service

Kidb is an interactive learning platform for Kerala PSC exam preparation that allows users to:

  • Participate in timed practice tests covering PSC syllabus topics
  • Track progress and compare with other students on leaderboards
  • Earn rewards based on performance in select practice tests
  • Browse questions, answers, and explanations from completed tests

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without prior notice.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Registration

To participate in quizzes, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You may register using your email address with OTP verification or through Google OAuth.

3.2 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 One Account Per Person

Each user is permitted only one account. Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantages is strictly prohibited and will result in the immediate ban of all associated accounts and forfeiture of any prizes.

4. Quiz Rules and Fair Play

4.1 General Rules

  • Quizzes are timed and questions must be answered within the allotted time per question.
  • Once a quiz is started, you must complete it in a single session. Leaving or refreshing the page may result in loss of progress.
  • Scores are calculated based on correct answers, wrong answers (negative marking may apply), and unanswered questions.
  • Leaderboard rankings are determined by score and time taken.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Using VPNs, proxies, or any tools to mask your identity or location during quizzes
  • Using automated tools, bots, scripts, or browser extensions to answer questions
  • Sharing quiz answers with other participants during an active quiz
  • Opening multiple browser tabs or windows during a quiz
  • Creating multiple accounts to participate in the same quiz
  • Colluding with other users to manipulate results
  • Attempting to exploit bugs, vulnerabilities, or technical glitches
  • Any form of cheating or unfair play

4.3 Anti-Fraud Measures

We employ various security measures including device fingerprinting, IP tracking, VPN/proxy detection, and behavioral analysis to detect and prevent fraud. Users found engaging in fraudulent activity will be permanently banned and will forfeit all prizes.

5. Prizes and Payouts

5.1 Eligibility

Prize eligibility is determined by quiz rules and leaderboard rankings. Only users who have completed their profile and verified their identity are eligible to receive payouts.

5.2 Payout Process

  • Winners must provide a valid phone number for payout processing.
  • Phone numbers must be verified via OTP before payouts are processed.
  • Payouts are processed at the discretion of the administrators and may take time to complete.
  • We reserve the right to withhold or cancel payouts if fraud or violation of these Terms is detected.

5.3 Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes on prizes received. Kidb does not withhold taxes on behalf of users.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, quiz questions, software, and design elements, is the property of Kidb or its content creators and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Website without our prior written consent.

7. Advertisements

The Website displays third-party advertisements, including ads served by Google AdSense. By using the Website, you acknowledge that:

  • Third-party advertisers may use cookies and tracking technologies to serve relevant ads.
  • We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party advertisements.
  • Clicking on advertisements may redirect you to third-party websites that have their own terms and privacy policies.
  • You should not click on ads artificially or repeatedly, as this violates advertising policies.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Website for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Website or servers
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Harass, abuse, or threaten other users

9. Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, for any reason including but not limited to:

  • Any behavior that we determine is harmful to the platform or other users

Upon termination, your right to use the Website ceases immediately, and any pending prizes may be forfeited.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and its services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kidb and its owners, operators, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Website. Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Website shall not exceed the amount of any prize you have won, if any.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Kidb and its owners, operators, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Website, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

13. External Links

The Website may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Kidb. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with the use of any third-party content, goods, or services.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

15. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the Website. Your continued use of the Website after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

16. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
